A brand of OrangeFin

A brand that survives contact with a real site.

A complete identity carried into a working site and four-step booking flow.

The Sleepybird home page, a photograph of an overgrown glasshouse with the headline "The forest got in through the roof" set over it in a dark panel.

Where brand projects usually come apart

Brand systems often stop before the real interface decisions: small type, unavailable states, validation, pricing and mobile use.

Carried through to the parts that decide it

The booking entry, concept story and practical pages all use the same system.

A date is the first question, not the last

The booking starts with the date a buyer already has in mind. Three months, availability and unavailable dates stay visible, so the state is always clear.

Step one of the Sleepybird booking flow, a three-month calendar with an availability mark under each date, under a numbered progress rail reading Date, Session, Tickets, Check.

The idea comes before the interface

The concept page gives the experience a clear point of view before asking a visitor to choose a session or buy a ticket.

Where a brand is actually judged

Opening times, prices, expectations and directions carry the same identity as the opening screen.

The system underneath

Colour, type and usage rules remove guesswork from the next page or campaign.

  • Ink #0C2018 Body text on light, and the dark surface itself
  • Paper #EFF2E6 The light background
  • Fern #2F6B41 Structural green, safe for body text
  • Kingfisher #10727A Links, focus rings, controls
  • Heliconia #C23A18 Dawn Chorus, the first session of the day
  • Orchid #B32E68 Bloom Hours, the busiest session
  • Drowse #9FB09A The Drowse, and deliberately not a flower
  • Lantern #E8A02C Lantern Hours. Graphics only, never text on light

Colours that cannot carry readable text are restricted to graphics. The rules are documented in the brand guide.
